Christine & James :: Wedding at Days Ferry Congregational and Taste of Maine in Woolwich, Maine
Christine & James were married on one of the most picturesque November wedding days I have ever seen. There was just a little bit of crispness to the air, but the sun was shining brilliantly and there were just a few puffy white clouds in the sky. Christine and her ladies, as well as most of Christine's family, got ready at the Day's Inn in Brunswick, Maine. The biggest attraction of the entire morning was Christine & James' new puppy, who I caught curled up in a tiny ball taking a nap. She is so adorable!
The ceremony itself was at the very "Maine" Day's Ferry Congregational Church in Woolwich. It featured the most gorgeous ceremonial music I have every heard and the most professional flower girl from any wedding I have ever attended. The music matched the day perfectly and everyone was mesmerized by the duos vocals. The flower girl had the biggest smile ever as she careful dropped the flower petals on her way down the aisle without even looking down at her basket once. I swear she must do it professional because she was awesome!
After snapping the formal portraits at the Church, it was off to the oceanside Taste of Maine to celebrate the newlyweds. The centerpieces were some of the most elaborate and gorgeous pieces I have ever seen. The cake... oh, the cake! European Bakery, as usual, outdid themselves with an absolutely stunning three tiered masterpiece that smelled, and I'm sure tasted, amazing. The couple shared their first dance in addition to dances with their parents and an anniversary dance that kept several couples on the dance floor well after the 30 year mark. It was impressive! Even more impressive was watching James' on the dance floor with one of his groomsmen. They were awesome to watch!
Congratulations, Christine & James, and thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. It was such an honor!
All of Christine & James' photos are posted in their gallery, but you’ll need the password from her in order to see them and order printed goodies. In the meantime, here is a sneak peek from her senior portrait session. To see more, be sure to head over to my Facebook page and hit the “Like” button!
