Two is about to become three: Michelle & Jory's Winter Maternity Portraits at Pineland Farms.
It is impossible for me to believe that it has been a year and a half since Jory & Michelle were married. That means it's been two and a half years since I first met Michelle over a cup of coffee (after we determined we were at different Dunkin' Donuts) to talk about their wedding plans. My how time flies! Needless to say, I was more than a little excited when they announced the impending arrival of their little one AND that they wanted to get together for maternity portraits.
Last week, we did just that and met up at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine. I love the campus for the wide variety of options that it gives us during a portrait session so that you don't need to travel around. The fresh coat of snow the day before meant that everything was glimmering in snow crystals. Add in the warmth of the sun and I don't think that they could have wished for a better day. It is hard to believe that in a few short weeks, these two will officially be mom & dad. But I know that their child is one lucky little one to be joining such an amazing family with such big hearts, smiles, and a wicked sense of humor.
Michelle & Jory, thank you, as always, for coming to me for your session. I am so honored to have captured your journey together. I cannot wait to hear that your little one has arrived and you can rock together in the glider just like I did many years ago.
