On June 23, 2012, I was driving up to the perfect 1812 Farm in Bristol, Maine, for Ashley & Jeff's wedding when mother nature started spitting rain drops at me. To say I was not impressed would be an understatement. A quick check of the radar and a prayer later, it seemed like we might luck out. And we did. The storms that swept across Maine somehow missed us in Bristol and made for a perfect day. Ashley & Jeff tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony next to the pond and fountain behind The 1812 Farm. The colors of the bridesmaids' dresses and the gorgeous bouquets popped against the otherwise muted colors caused by the overcast sky. Ashley's smile was bright enough to light up a room. Jeff was beaming with love for his gorgeous bride. Did I say the day was perfect? Well, it was. The reception that followed featured the delicious food from
Stone Cove Catering, a gorgeous cake from
Nothing Bakes like a Parrott, and a packed dance floor thanks to tunes spun by
Dan Giroux. I dare say that the day was one that Ashley & Jeff's family and friends will never forget!

Congratulations, Ashley & Jeff (& Evan, too)! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. It was an absolute honor! I hope that you are enjoying Jamaica, especially with the rain taking over the weather in Maine this week. I'm so jealous!
And, Kari & Dustin, I can't wait for your wedding in 3 short months. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again!
