Amelia + Tyler's Fort Williams Park Micro-Wedding
I have known Amelia since back in high school when we attended the same boarding school in Massachusetts. Needless to say, I was very excited when Amelia & Tyler reached out to me about capturing their nuptials. Like many couples, their plans were forced to change several times between their engagement and their intimate gathering at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth. As I often say to my couples, the most important point of your wedding day is to be married. So even the pandemic could not keep these two from tying the knot during the fall of 2020.
As Amelia arrived at the Park, everyone departed from the gazebo to leave Tyler to wait for his bride. They shared their first look before quietly reciting their vows and rings with each other as we looked on from afar. We cheered, hugged, and laughed before making our way around the park to capture their portraits along the coastline. Fortunately, Amelia was very prepared and changed her footwear out for her LLBean Bean Boots to make our exploration easier.
We wrapped up our time together with their cake cutting complete with birthday candles on top of it. Why candles? Well, when your niece demands that every cake needs candles, you put candles on it! Even though the sky was overcast, it was an absolutely picture-perfect day in every way.
