Brittany & Dan's Old Port Maternity Session in Portland, Maine
Woah. That's about how I can sum this one up.
How has it already been five years since Brittany & Dan tied the knot? Or just about that long since their epic trash the dress session in Portsmouth, New Hampshire before the bridge was taken down?
And yet here we are. Anxiously awaiting the arrival of their son. Despite the years flying by, Brittany & Dan have been one of those couples that stick with me. We've gotten together for dinner. We share each other's lives as Facebook friends. So it comes as no surprise that I was anxiously awaiting their "it's time for more photos!" email to come through. And boy am I glad it did.
We opted to wander around a more northern port city for their latest session to add variety to their walls filled with seaside portraits. The Old Port offers such a range of scenic locales and all of the nuances that I know Brittany just loves (old brick walls, buoys, the ocean... I could go on). Exploring the city together was much more than an opportunity to capture their lives as they are about to become parents; it was a chance to catch up with old friends and reminisce about the past five plus years since we first "met" as they planned their wedding.
Brittany & Dan, I am so very honored that you have brought me into your circle to capture your story. I cannot wait to meet your son! He is so very lucky to have the two of you to call his own (not to mention the other awesome members of your family). ❤
