Molly & Scott's Perfectly Fall Two Lights State Park Engagement Portraits
Wow. Wow. WOW!
When Molly first contacted me about her September 2017 wedding with Scott back in August, I instantly knew that I really wanted to be their photographer. We emailed back and forth about their incredible plans at one of my favorite venues in Maine and also about their relationship over all these years that led them to this point. We chatted on the phone shortly before they left for a trip to Iceland and it was like talking to old friends.
So, when Molly & Scott walked across the parking lot at Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, to meet me for the engagement portraits last weekend... you can bet I gave them hugs despite it being our first official time meeting. What blew me away immediately was Molly's smile and the way Scott's eyes twinkled when he looked at her. And then the hints of Scott's goofy side came out and Molly was laughing and smiling even more, which I thought was just not possible. As we explored one of my favorite State Parks in the state, we got to know each other better and share in our fair share of laughs together. We were eventually the only ones left in the Park as the sun started to dip below the horizon, closing out a gorgeous fall day here in Maine. The sound of the birds chirping, the waves crashing on the rocks, and the wind through the trees... it truly was an awesome evening with Molly & Scott. Especially since it started raining less than 10 minutes after we parted ways. Perfect timing!
Molly & Scott, I had a great time with both of you on Sunday. It made me even more excited for your wedding next fall! Here is a (not so) little sneak peek at what is coming your way in your full gallery. I hope you love them as much as I do! ❤
