Rainy? What rain? No rain for Samantha & Dalton!

No rain. No snow. No Wessie sightings.

That pretty much sums up Samantha & Dalton's engagement portraits last week at Riverbank Park in Westbrook, Maine. When they first booked me at the beginning of the month, they had their fingers crossed for fresh snow for their engagement portraits. Flash forward to last week. We had been clobbered by a few rounds of snow storms. And then Mother Nature pulled a 180 and proceeded to melt a great deal of it with a heat wave. Yet the snow in Westbrook held on for us and gave them a (relatively) clean blanket of snow.

Looking at these two love birds, I don't think I have ever seen so many smiles and so much laughter from one couple during their engagement session. Samantha claimed it was from the awkwardness but I beg to differ. The glimmer in their eyes as they looked at each other. The way they relax with each other and just enjoy being in each other's presence. It's obvious to me that their paths that led to each other were the right ones. I know that they each have big hearts and have a very bright future together.

I am really looking forward to their wedding late this fall as we officially can celebrate their union.
