Keeley & Dan reached out to me to photograph their own nuptials over a year in advance of their wedding date. Having worked with me already, it didn’t take long for them to officially crown me their wedding photographer. I love it when that happens! They were planning a backyard soirée at Keeley’s childhood home with their closest family and friends there to celebrate. In fact, the tent was actually set up where Keeley & Amber’s swing set was set up many years ago. I am sure that the weekend was a bit surreal to their parents as the lawn was taken over with lawn games, cocktail tables, an aisle, and a large white tent.

Bonding over the chaos of motherhood, we talked about her & Joven's plans for their destination wedding here in Maine during Maine's peak foliage. I was left in awe of their teamwork as they planned their wedding from the other side of the country (with help from Cassie of Doting & Details). Tackling wedding planning with a newborn at home? They did so with style and their wedding day itself was more perfect than I could ever say. Now, they might have wished for slightly warmer temperatures and a bit more bright fall colors on the trees, but at least it did not rain!

I have been emailing back and forth with Jordan since she first contacted me back in August of 2015. So, when we first got together in person in October, it was certainly like meeting up with an old friend to catch up. Easy to get along with would be an understatement!
