Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine, is one of a handful of wedding venues that I have had the honor of working at multiple times over the years. The last wedding I captured there was Elizabeth & Michael’s soirée in June of 2018. Since then, their wedding has graced the pages of Real Maine Weddings a couple times. Read MoreExactly eleven months prior to their wedding, Elizabeth & Michael reached out to me with their plans for their June 2018 wedding at Maine Maritime Museum. I was instantly excited at the opportunity to visit the Museum after Kelly & Kevin's wedding back in 2015. As I got to know Elizabeth & Michael and learned more about their story, my enthusiasm only grew (as did the "reply" list of our email chain). Fast forward to this past Saturday and even mother nature couldn't dampen my spirits. It was time for Elizabeth & Michael to finally get hitched! I am not sure that the forecast was what they had in mind when they opted for a June wedding, but my goodness did they rock it!

As they await the arrival of the next generation, we got to work on creating their custom heritage wedding album with their favorite images from the day. I absolutely love this part of my relationship with couples as it gives me the chance to see what images that I captured for them are their favorite and mean the most to them. Narrowing down their choices to the ones that will be able to tell their wedding story for generations to come can certainly be challenging, but the end result is so worth it!
